James D. Burns
Jim was born in Orange County, California, on November 1, 1963. He graduated cum laude from California State University at Bakersfield with a B.S. Physics in 1986. Jim then attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and obtained his M.Div., cum laude, in 1990. Following a move to Arkansas, Jim attended the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock, obtaining his J.D. and graduating, with honors, in 2006. Jim was a member of the University of Arkansas Law Review, 2004-2005.
Jim was admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Arkansas in 2006. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. His practice focuses on Insurance Defense, Felony Criminal Defense; Consumer Bankruptcy; Debt Collection; Civil Litigation-Defense.
