Kevin J. Staten

Kevin Staten has been an attorney for over thirty-five years, has tried over 400 jury trials, and is considered one of the finest defense attorneys in the state of Arkansas. He is a member of the Pulaski County, Arkansas, and American Bar Associations, and the Defense Counsel Bar of Arkansas.  He specializes in personal injury defense cases and other matters concerning insurance defense.

Kevin received his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with high honors. He was recognized as “Who’s Who” at the University of Arkansas, where he was elected president of Blue Key. He also was chosen to be a member of Mortar Board, Order of Omega, Omicron Delta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Nu, along with other honors at the University.

Kevin graduated in 1984 with a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and has been in practice with the Laser Law Firm since 1985.  Kevin Staten was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on September 6, 1960, and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His father was a superintendent with State Farm Insurance Company and a respected insurance defense lawyer.  He later became an Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Court of Appeals.
